Conclusion
We have learnt about software tools that can be helpful for students with special needs:
- Speech to text software– helpful for students who cannot see text so they can have it read out
- Changing accessibility functions on your computer – can help students who have trouble hearing or seeing content on the screen
- YouTube – is useful because you can activate subtitles as well as find videos for students with learning disabilities
- Applications– there are many types of apps for students who have trouble learning, speaking or understanding.
- Searching for teaching materials– there is so much teaching material out there that other teachers have used which you might find helpful!
