Conclusion
Learning outside of the classroom is streamlined and scaffolded better if you have a virtual classroom. There are many tools to achieve this. Synchronous meeting tools or video conferencing is great if you want to engage with the 'class' in real time. (Consider tools like skype, MS Teams and Zoom). However, this is not always necessary if you are happy for the learners to learn in their own time. Asynchronous platforms or learning management systems allow you to lay out the learning pathway for students to navigate in their own time, obviously within certain time parameters which you would set. (Consider Google Classroom or Moodle Cloud).
