Ideas for using SMART Notebooks in teaching and learning

Many of our classrooms now have an Interactive Whiteboard and our laptops have collaborative learning software installed on them. Are you using your Interactive Whiteboard effectively? Is it living up to your expectations? In this unit we will have a look at how to get more out of this technology.

We would like you to interact with your peers and the unit facilitator and discuss your ideas for an Interactive Whiteboard lesson. Make sure the discussion covers how technology, in this instance the Interactive Whiteboard, is actually enhancing the lesson. Try not to suggest a lesson idea that could also be done on paper! Make sure your suggestion exploits the power of the board. Also read previous posts to see if there are any other useful ideas you might adopt.
