Unit 44: Creating an online learning environment (LMS)

In this unit, you are going to set up your own online Learning Management System (or LMS) using the free Moodle Cloud software. We are also going to use what we learnt about instructional design in Unit 43 to evaluate the quality of the units in this course. If you have not yet completed Unit 43: Instructional Design, you should go back and complete it before continuing.
By the end of this unit, you will be able to:


Your assessment for this unit is in 2 parts.
In part A, you need to use the rubric created by the University of Southern Mississippi to evaluate the quality of this course.
The second part is pretty simple. You need to set up your own Moodle Cloud LMS and then send this URL to your facilitator along with a username and password with which your facilitator can log in.
You learnt in the lesson how to create your free Moodle Cloud site. Watch the video again if you need to.
