his unit uses a blended learning methodology and will be facilitated in a face to face session during the ICT Essentials orientation workshop. However, access to the resources, tutorials, quiz and other resources will be accessed using the learning management system.

This unit is about troubleshooting ICT problems and how to solve them. Since a computer is an expensive purchase it is important to keep the device in good working order. Luckily, it's not difficult to keep your computer healthy and working well. Maintaining a computer involves three things:
The most powerful trouble-shooting technique is to isolate the problem to a specific computer component by trial-and-error. Use any program you feel comfortable with such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint etc. to create a presentation to suggest potential solutions to maintenance issues in your school.
