Step 1
Work through the various readings and tutorials provided in this unit. This will provide you with a good overview of the many online threats that your students could be exposed to.

Step 2
In groups, discuss what you believe should be in a School Internet Safety Policy. Secondly, share with the group what you think are the challenges around developing a School Internet Policy.

Step 3

Now, use a search engine to locate a School Internet Safety Policy template/example online that can be adapted in your school. Finalize a one page document where you outline rules and procedures to protect students at your school. This is effectively a proposal for School Administrators to consider as they start to adopt computers and the internet usage.
