Activity

Qn.1. You are required to design a flipped classroom lesson plan for a topic of your choice. Your lesson plan should follow the flipped classroom design cycle: Before Class → During Class → After Class.

Step 1: Pre-Class Planning

  1. Choose a lesson topic relevant to your subject area.
  2. Identify learning objectives for the lesson.
  3. Select or develop pre-class materials, such as:
    • Short instructional videos (5–10 minutes)
    • Readings or articles (including Open Educational Resources, if applicable)
    • Interactive resources (quizzes, multimedia, simulations)
  4. Explain how these materials prepare students for active participation during class.

Deliverable: Describe your pre-class materials and explain their purpose in 2–3 paragraphs.

Step 2: In-Class Strategies

  1. Plan interactive strategies to use during the class, such as:
    • Group work and collaborative problem-solving
    • Case studies and real-world scenarios
    • Discussions, debates, or role-play activities
  2. Explain how each activity engages students, reinforces learning, and promotes critical thinking.

Deliverable: Provide a detailed plan for in-class activities, including duration and instructions for each activity.

Step 3: Post-Class Activities

  1. Design activities to consolidate learning after class, such as:
    • Reflection journals or guided reflection questions
    • Feedback surveys or peer assessment
    • Additional exercises or challenges for knowledge application
  2. Explain how these activities help students consolidate knowledge and reflect on their learning.

Deliverable: List post-class activities and provide a short explanation of their purpose.

Step 4: Lesson Plan Presentation

Combine all three steps into a comprehensive lesson plan including:

  • Lesson title and topic
  • Learning objectives
  • Pre-class materials
  • In-class strategies
  • Post-class activities

Optional: Include diagrams, tables, or schedules to make your lesson plan visually clear.
