You can also use special software that is designed to teach students with special needs. There are numerous applications or “apps” that you can search for on an iPad or tablet that will make teaching easier.
To do this, you can look in the “App Store” if you have an iPad, or the “Play Store” if you have a tablet.
- Some examples of Apps that you can download and use for students with special needs are:
- Learn with Rufus: You can create pictures by finger-painting and learn about numbers and counting
- TopIQ Phonics: Learners can sound out words and put letters in the right order to form words
- PCS Memory: Practice articulation, rhyming, and vocabulary amongst other skills
