“Narrator” on Windows 10 is a type of speech to text software. It is useful for a number of impairments including blind people, deaf people, and those who do not have full use of their hands. The programme is able to read screen text aloud when you move your cursor over it or select the text. An example of this kind of software can be seen in the video that you are about to watch, where the lady needs a text on her cellphone to be read out to her. As we will see in the video, it also works the other way, where you can speak to the ICT device and it will type out what you are saying.
