This
unit of study investigates the connection between emerging educational
technologies and the priorities of the nation as outlined in education policy, particularly
any statements made about this relationship as in ICT in Education policy.
Participants are encouraged to reflect on how their current actions align, or
do not, with policy directives. The unit is not however country specific and
will identify universal principles and potential benefits to teaching,
learning, and educational administration that ICT offers and that most
countries are pursing. Participant activities will be to identify the existing
national policies and identify national priorities in ICT in Education.
