Topic outline

  • Unit Introduction

This unit is Part 2 of a 2 part series on project-based learning (PBL). In unit 28 we looked at the basics of PBL and what makes for good and effective PBL. You ended unit 28 by writing the driving question for your own PBL project. If you have not yet completed unit 28, you should complete it before continuing.

  • Assessment instructions

Your assessment for this unit is to design your own PBL project. This can be a scary task so it is important to keep 3 things in mind:

    • The best way for you to learn is to try and the more you try the better you will get.
    • There is no PBL police. Just try and following the basic guidelines and principles.
    • Start small and grow from there.

With these things in mind, here is what you need to do.

    1. Download the blank Intel PBL Template.
    2. Decide on a driving question for your project and describe the goal of your project.
    3. Complete the template with as much detail as you can.
    4. Upload your completed PBL project template.
