  • Unit 53: Implement a learning environment

      • This unit is the fourth in a series of five. Module 12, that is units 50-54, is meant to be experienced in sequence as the units are designed to work together. This unit is different from the others in this series as we encourage participants to implement the learning environment they have built up in the previous units. We want to know what happens!

      • Your assessment is both simple and complex! We want you to deploy the learning environment you, and the class, designed and created in the previous units. Find out how it goes. Are the students engaged, creative and responsible? Are you impressed with what they can achieve when you step back? We are hoping the answer is 'yes', but even if you did not find this to be true we want to know about it. Perhaps you can identify and report on what circumstances mitigated against success. Your insights are valuable to the whole MGSLG Online community.

        1. Use the forum below and interact with both your peers and the unit facilitator. Describe your experiences and also look back at previous forum posts to see the experiences of others. Some of your peers will have been successful, while others less so. Make sure you interact with them and post messages both encouraging them and probing for more information and detail.

        1. Fill in the last sections of the Learning Environment Template entitled 'Case Study'. Ideally you should add to the same document you have worked on in units 50, 51 and 52 rather than starting again and submit the updated version. The version below is an empty template to be used if you have misplaced your original.
