Practical 3: Use Padlet for classroom collaboration

Learning Activity

  1. Go to https://padlet.com/
  2. Click “Make a Padlet” and choose a template (e.g., Wall, Canvas, or Grid) suitable for sharing ideas.
  3. Give your Padlet a title and a brief description related to your subject or lesson (e.g., “Science Ideas: Plants”).
  4. Adjust the privacy settings so that only invited participants can post on your Padlet.
  5. Create 1–2 sample posts yourself as a teacher. These can be a question, an image, a link, or a short explanation related to the lesson.
  6. Invite 2–3 fellow teachers to join your Padlet (they will act as students) by sharing the link or email invitation.
  7. Ask the participants to add at least one post in response to your question or topic.
  8. Give feedback on at least one participant’s post, encouraging engagement or adding clarification.
  9. Take a screenshot of your Padlet showing the title, your post, participant posts, and your feedback.
  10. Share that screenshot in the discussion forum.
