Practical 5: Use PhET Simulations

Watch the following video on the use of PhET simulations in teaching and learning.

Learning Activity

1. Go to the PhET website: https://phet.colorado.edu
   
2. Use the search bar or browse by subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Earth Science).
   
3. Select two simulations that connect directly to lessons you teach.
   

• The name of the simulation.
• The topic/lesson in the school curriculum it supports.
• How you would use it in your teaching (demonstration, student activity, assignment, etc.)

4. Create a Word document (1–2 pages) with the following sections:
   

• Simulation 1: Name, related topic/lesson, how to use it during your class.
• Simulation 2: Name, related topic/lesson, how to use it during your class.

5. Submit your work as an assignment below
